Anew Salon: A Conversation with Alex Amouyel, CEO of Newman's Own Foundation

​We're excited to launch the Anew Salon, an intimate interview series centered on a new era of leadership and solution making. Our Anew Salon features conversations with mission-driven experts who are transforming companies, sectors, cities, and communities in brave, genre-defying new ways. 

​Our discussion will focus on how changemaking actually works, including the often messy work of forging new paths. Following the talk, we’ll facilitate a lively interactive conversation. This event will be especially relevant to anyone interested in solutions-oriented work, looking for inspiration, insight, and to connect to an ecosystem of problem solvers.

​For our first Anew Salon, we’re excited to be in conversation with Alex Amouyel, CEO of Newman’s Own Foundation, an organization with the experience, commitment, and track record to show what true transformation looks like. Now, with 100% for Purpose, they’re working to ensure the next generation of organizations and leaders dedicate 100% of their profits for purpose.

​Doors will open at 5pm, and the program will start by 5:30pm, followed by socializing until 7pm.

​Alex Amouyel is the President and CEO of Newman’s Own Foundation, a private grantmaking foundation whose mission is to nourish and transform the lives of children who face adversity. She leads the Foundation’s efforts to utilize 100% of the profits and royalties from the sale of Newman’s Own products in service of this mission. Under Alex’s leadership, Newman’s Own Foundation co-founded the 100% for Purpose Club, a community of impact-driven business leaders and companies working to support and inspire the next generation of organizations to donate 100% of their profits for purpose. Prior to her role at Newman’s Own Foundation, Alex led MIT Solve as its Founding Executive Director with a mission to drive innovation to solve world challenges.
