Food Bank for NYC: Food Bank’s Community Kitchen in Harlem serves 100,000+ free meals per month through our Meal Service, Free Farmers Market, and Older Adult Center so no New Yorker goes hungry.
Food Bank For New York City is the city’s largest hunger-relief organization, working since 1983 to end food poverty across the five boroughs. It sources and distributes food to a network of community-based food pantries, soup kitchens, and other partner programs, and it also operates its own community kitchen and pantry in Harlem. Beyond food distribution, it helps New Yorkers build longer-term stability through free tax preparation, benefits enrollment support (including SNAP), financial empowerment services, and nutrition education. It also advocates for policies that address the root causes of hunger and poverty.
Anew is a gathering space and discovery center for social transformation located in NYC. We host interactive events and workshops, an accelerator program for nonprofits, and a retail lab featuring ethically-sourced coffee and gifts.
