Who this is for
You have money you would like to put into brands you actually use. You have never written an angel check, or you have written two and want to get better at it. You want to sit next to the people who do this for a living and ask the questions you are slightly embarrassed to ask.
That room does not exist in New York. So we built it.

What happens
10am. Cassandra Grey and Laney Crowell on what the data knows: what sells, what sticks, and how they turn that into a check.
11am. The next five years of consumer. Where the money, the shelf, and the customer are going.
Noon. Lunch by goop Kitchen. Long tables, no assigned seats. Historically the hour where the deals start.
1pm. Breakouts. Writing your first check. How SPVs work. Diligence on a consumer brand. A founders-only room.
2pm. Angel War Stories. Five angels, ten minutes each, one story apiece. The check that worked, the one that went to zero, and what they would do differently. No slides.
3pm. The Pitch Demo. Founders pitch the room. The room decides.
4pm. Happy hour, with everyone who now knows what they want to invest in.
All day: the HALO Bodega. No one needs a swag bag. What you need is to shop a carefully curated NYC-inspired bodega full of our favorite brands across wellness, beauty, longevity, and consumer packaged goods .
What you leave with
