About Event

Welcome to Tuesday Afternoon Sound Bath! We will begin with a guided meditation to give some gentle care and tending to the seven energy centers in the body, and transition into 30-40 minutes of peaceful sound meditation, with crystal singing bowls, shell chimes, rain sounds, and ocean drum waves.  We will finish up with herbal tea and some reflective conversation. Held in the beautiful secret garden behind Homegrown Studio, this sound bath allows you to slip out of hectic city life and spend a moment of rest and kindness in community.

Sound bath meditation is for everyone, it asks nothing of you but your presence and an open mind. No experience with meditation or sound healing needed, no special clothing or equipment required. Wear clothing that makes you feel comfortable and safe. Bring a yoga mat if you would like to lie down, a pillow if you want, a light scarf or hoodie if you get cold, an eye mask, or even an sheet mask if you want to multitask your self care. Or just come as you are. There is literally no way you can get this wrong.

Logistics

Class will be outside on the back garden patio of Homegrown Studio, accessed through the Studio. If the weather does not cooperate, we will move inside to the Homegrown Studio classroom space.
