Communi-tea: Harvest Edition · Honoring What We've Grown

​Between Día de los Muertos and Thanksgiving, we're holding a special Communi-tea to remember and give thanks for everything this community has made together this year.

​Over the past months, so many of you have gathered with us at the Human Flourishing Floor, the First Light Gala, Thursday afternoons at The Fold, Agora salons, and the open source track at SF Tech Week. Some of those spaces and projects have closed, some are still changing, and each one taught us something about how people build a commons together. This afternoon is a chance to honor them, and the people who made them happen.

​We'll set up a shared remembrance table in the spirit of an ofrenda. Bring something small to place on it: a photo, a note, a flyer, or an object from a gathering, project, or person you want to remember. We'll pour tea all afternoon. Come sit with us, share a story, or take some quiet time with a cup before the holidays.

​We'll also share news about the next seed of Apollo Commons, a new home for this community that we've been tending for a while. We'd love for you to be there when we announce it.

​Drop in anytime between noon and 3.

​Getting there: Go into the Crocker Galleria at 50 Post St (at Montgomery), take the escalator to the third floor, and follow the "Roof Garden" signs. You can pick up lunch inside the Galleria and bring it up.

​Weather: The terrace is outdoors, so bring a layer.
