La Peña is transforming our Amsterdam Oost home back into a traditional argentinean football watch party. We are here for the football, the fellowship and the food.
🥟 The Food: Argentinean Classics by Chef Max Bonfanti
International Chef Max Bonfanti is taking over the Wanakam kitchen once again to serve the holy trinity of Argentine soul food, crafted with absolute respect for tradition:
The Essentials: Hand-crafted Empanadas (the proper kind, where the juice actually runs down your arm) and delicate, melt-in-your-mouth Alfajores.
The Ritual: We are pouring Fernet con Coca (respecting the sacred 70/30 ratio, naturally) alongside some high-end Malbec to keep the conversations long and flowing.

Our exact artist lineup is currently a tightly guarded secret (to be announced very soon!), but the rhythm of the day is locked in.
18:00 – 20:30 | The Day Vibe: Roots & Rock
The afternoon is communal, warm, and apto para todo público (family-friendly). Expect lthe timeless Argentine Rock anthems that echo through the streets of Buenos Aires. Grab a table, drink some chai or Malbec, and feel entirely at home.
21:00 Onwards | The Final Watch Party
The music makes way for the commentary. The projector screen comes down, and Wanakam transforms into a massive diaspora watch party. Whether it is triumph or tension, there is no better place to experience it than surrounded bycommunity.
