Keep it Real! With Sagesse and Anne Stevenson
Keep it Real! is a 2-hour workshop that builds capacity among the public how to Recognize Domestic Abuse and Coercive Control, Empathize without judgment, Ask the right questions and Listen.
Often domestic abuse happens in the home or in private spaces, this workshop helps people learn how to recognize and talk about domestic abuse and coercive control. It isn’t fancy or complicated, it’s just a moment between two people.
Community safety - in all its forms - is something that I care deeply about. While we often focus on safety in public spaces, our need for security doesn’t end at our doorsteps - and neither does the role we all play in supporting and caring for each other. That’s why I’m excited to cohost a workshop with Sagesse that will share the tools and resources we can use to support individuals experiencing domestic abuse. Join me for a morning of connection and learning, and build skills to help keep our community safe and healthy
