Building Your Career in Impact Investing - Webinar 2: Breaking In and Standing Out
Whether you're actively applying or just starting to get serious about a career in impact investing, this session is designed to help you get more specific and tactical about how to prepare. A panel of impact investing practitioners from ICM member funds will share honest, practical advice on how to build relevant skills before you're in the job, what it actually means to think like an investor, how to translate your current experience into something that resonates in this field, and what practitioners pay attention to in order to stay sharp. Whether you're coming from finance, a non-finance background, or somewhere in between, the goal is to leave with concrete things you can do now to develop your skills and sharpen your approach.
Featured speakers include:
Semiray Kasoolu - Head of Impact Solutions, Y Analytics
Tobi Adewodu - Associate Director, Apis & Heritage Capital Partners
Mary King - Senior Vice President, Aligned Climate Capital
This is the second session in a two-part webinar series on building a career in impact investing, hosted by Impact Capital Managers (ICM). You're welcome to attend one or both — neither session is a prerequisite for the other.
ICM is a membership network of ~150 private capital impact investing funds focused on strengthening the field, and is home to the Mosaic Fellowship, a co-producer of Turner MIINT, and the publisher of Impact Insider, a monthly publication covering jobs, events, and news across the impact investing ecosystem.
