Book Club: Medium is the Massage (McLuhan) members & +1s

​Hey all! We'll be forming a little book club at The Commons around "The Medium Is the Massage" a graphic novel renowned for its prescient analysis of modern social media and technology published back the 1960s. It's a timeless and relevant book for those working in interface design, the attention economy, or interested in media studies.

​We will split the book up into 4 sections, and spend the first hour of each gathering reading it, and the second hour discussing it. 

​Do grab the book before our first session, preferably a physical copy. Reading it is a visual and tactile experience.

​The book is available on Amazon, but let me know if cost is a concern, and I’d be happy to lend you a copy. 

​You’re welcome to join in the second half if you’ve read the book before-hand, though I strongly encourage collective reading if possible.
