Financing Caribbean Innovation - Expert Session by DCIF

​How do you finance innovation in small island economies, where banks are careful, equity is scarce, and most founders have never been "investment-ready"?

​In the Netherlands, regional funds, banks, and support programmes have spent decades building answers: revolving funds, innovation loans, regional development companies, and readiness programmes that prepare founders for capital. In the Caribbean, many of these pieces are still missing.

​The Dutch Caribbean Innovation Fund (DCIF) is bringing some of the Netherlands' most experienced practitioners together with Caribbean fund builders for one session. We'll look at what works, what doesn't, and what could work here.
