Made in Miami: Where Innovation in South Florida Goes Next

Hosted by the Dartmouth Club of South Florida, Green D Ventures, the Dartmouth Society of Engineers, and Greenberg Traurig

South Florida has spent the last five years quietly reshaping its reputation as a place people move to rather than build in. Capital followed. Founders followed. A real and renewed hardware and manufacturing ecosystem started to take shape. But how does Miami relate to the established hubs in San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, and Seattle?

What's actually being made here? Who's funding it? And what would it take for South Florida to become a place where hard systems get developed and built for the long run?

Join us for a candid conversation about what's being built, what's working, what needs to change, and what comes next.

Panelists

Laura Rippy D'89 - Managing Partner, Green D Ventures
Brian Neff D'99 - Founder & CEO, Sintavia

Moderated by Jillian Ladegard D'04 Th'05 - VP, Ausenco & President of the Dartmouth Society of Engineers

Doors open at 7:00pm for drinks and mingling, panel begins at 7:30pm, and then some time after to keep the conversation going.
