Halal Money Weekend
The Halal Money Weekend
Join us for a focused two day, in person Islamic finance programme designed to give you clarity, confidence and practical tools to manage your money in line with your faith.
Taking place on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 May at the British Muslim Heritage Centre in Manchester, this intensive weekend brings together leading practitioners from across the Islamic finance industry in one place. The aim is simple: to help you make better financial and investment decisions with conviction and understanding.
Across the weekend, you will cover the full journey from foundations to execution. Day 1 focuses on building a strong financial base, including budgeting, goal setting, and understanding halal and haram income and investments through practical examples and group exercises. Day 2 moves into strategy, with sessions on private and public market investing, exposure to different asset classes, and insights from established institutions including Cur8 Capital, Wahed, Saturna Capital and Nester.
The programme combines structured teaching, real world case studies, interactive discussions and live Q&A, with time set aside for reflection and practical application. You will also have the opportunity to engage directly with industry experts and ask questions relevant to your own situation.
This event is designed for individuals, couples and families who are serious about taking control of their finances and investing in a way that aligns with their values.
By the end of the weekend, you will leave with a clear budget, defined financial goals, a strong understanding of halal investing principles, and a practical strategy you can act on with confidence.
