What is Proof of Living?
Proof of Living is a social media challenge within muShanghai's Build in Public program, focused on what's happening in Longevity Camp.
From May 20 - June 5th, participants document their longevity journeys through social media content, using the #ProofofLiving hashtag to build public awareness and community knowledge.
This track brings together people curious about living longer and better - whether you're recording a new experiment, addressing an important health question, or innovating how we share longevity content. Your social media content becomes both the experiment documentation AND the contribution to collective knowledge.
It's not about having the perfect routine or the most scientific approach. It's about sharing your real journey, engaging the community, and building proof that we're all learning together.
Who Can Join?
"I'm not a biohacker — can I join?" Yes. Curiosity counts.
"I'm just starting my health journey — can I join?" Yes. Day 1 is interesting.
"I don't have special equipment — can I join?" Yes. Creativity over gear.
"I want to work solo — can I join?" Yes. Minimum team size: 1 person.
The bar isn't perfection. It's participation.

CREATIVE DIRECTIONS:
→ Experiment Focused :
The best track for those who want to be knee-deep in the longevity month experience, and take an active and engaged role in documenting Longevity Camp experiments. You’ll join/follow an experiment group of your choice, and document their journey.
You’ll not only focus on documenting their process, their data collection, and showcase the highs and lows of experimental design and execution… but you’ll
→ Personal "Creative Experiment" :
the optimal track for those who have a particular question or curiosity.
this track is a creative take on real experiment design. you will formulate your own question, and create a series exploring that question. you can choose your series to reflect the scientific method structure, where you ask your question, explore your hypothesis, interview people, and showcase your “research process” that you go through to arrive at your conclusion, or synthesis.
for example: how does sleep quality impact the builders at muShanghai?
→ Document Your (Longevity) Life
Kind of a take on “document your life” - but builder / longevity edition.
The track designed for those just exploring… whether that be content creation, longevity, or both.
You can document what you’re learning during Longevity month, a topic that you’re exploring, and answer any questions you may have. You might choose to do a few videos exploring innovations in biotech, a few about the experiments happening… the motto for this one is FOLLOW YOUR CURIOSITY.
