The Gratitude Table by Women's Social Club Amsterdam
Last year, we hosted our first WSCA Friendsgiving, and we loved it so much that we had to bring it back. There was something very special about everyone contributing to one shared table, trying each other’s dishes and spending the evening with a mix of familiar faces and people they had only just met.
Whether Thanksgiving has always been part of your life or you’ve never celebrated it before, you’re warmly invited. If you usually celebrate but find yourself far from home, this is a chance to enjoy the tradition here in Amsterdam. And if Thanksgiving is completely new to you, think of it simply as a cosy evening dedicated to good food, friendship and meeting new people.
Everyone brings something to share; homemade or shop-bought, elaborate or wonderfully simple. Your contribution only needs to provide around four to six portions, ready-to-serve, so there’s no need to cook for the whole room.
Coming alone? Please do. Many people will, and friendsgiving is designed to make meeting others feel easy and natural. You can also choose a Bring a Friend ticket if you would rather come together (and enjoy a nice discount).

Entry to WSCA Friendsgiving from 19:30–22:30
The full potluck dinner created by the group
Hosting, conversation prompts and relaxed social activities
Plates, cutlery, and napkins
A warm evening of good food and new friendships
**Note** Every booking includes a commitment to bring something to share. Shop-bought contributions are absolutely welcome: what matters is joining in, not your cooking skills!
