Breathwork 101: A Free Preview with Gyovany Muñoz
Curious about breathwork but not quite sure what actually happens in a session?
Join Gyovany Muñoz of Medicine of Breath for a free 45 minute online introduction. He will explain what breathwork is and how it affects your body, guide you through a short practice so you can feel it for yourself, and stay on afterward to answer whatever you want to ask.
This is a low pressure way to find out whether the practice is for you, from your own living room.
What we will cover
What breathwork is, why it works, and what it does for your nervous system (about 15 minutes)
A guided 15 minute breathing practice, a shortened taste of the real thing
Open Q&A, entirely optional. Stay as long as you like, or drop off after the practice
What you need
A quiet spot where you can sit or lie down comfortably
Headphones if you have them
Cameras on if you are able. Gyovany reads the room as he guides, so seeing how people respond lets him adjust the pace. Not compulsory, and you are free to switch off at any point
A preview of the full experience
This session is a taste of Resonance Reset, our in person breathwork and sound bath afternoon on Sunday, September 6 at Mint Mat Yoga Studio in Hiroo.
Limited to 16 participants, so each person receives individual guidance throughout the breathwork and close, attentive care during the sound bath as Nanako moves through the space with the bowls.
