Birmingham Launch Event

​This event aims to boost NetworKING UK's reach beyond London by elevating its presence elsewhere. This major in-person networking event taking place in Birmingham will allow for young people from a diverse range of backgrounds to be exposed to NetworKING UK, increasing the organisation's commitment to breaking spatial and socioeconomic barriers to opportunity access. Attendees can expect to gain an insight into how NetworKING UK operates, learning about our shared values of professionalism, social mobility, and solidarity.

​This will allow existing NetworKING UK members to meet their peers from other organisations and backgrounds, widening the organisation's influence while broadening the links of our members. This will amplify interest in NetworKING UK, driving demand for locational diversification and the delivery of structured social mobility projects. At Youth Hub Birmingham, industry speakers could come from a broad range of career backgrounds, from medicine to law, the creative industries, finance, and beyond. Outreach from the University of Birmingham will allow greater insight into higher education, post-18 pathways, and the rich benefits of social networking.
