About Event

Integral altruism integrates effective altruism with other changemaking traditions, like wisdom, systems thinking, metarationality, and metamodernism.

Many of us are drawn to doing good - but somewhere along the way, we may have learned to show up for it as only part of ourselves. The analyst who suppresses their intuition. The practitioner who doesn't trust their own reasoning. The strategist who never moves to action. This workshop is an invitation to explore what doing good looks like when all of you is on board - and to wrestle honestly with where that integration is hard. Some questions we’ll explore together:

  • Which parts of you are most present in how you do good - and which ones have been more silenced?

  • What would a more integrated way of doing good actually look like in your life? What would actually change in how you spend your time and energy if you were fully integrated?

  • How do you relate to the int/a principles, and how do they challenge or affirm how you currently approach doing good?

This gathering will be in a workshop format - with guided journaling, paired and group discussions, games, and snacks!
