About Event

Silicon Valley is entering the middle of 2026 with two truths at once: the future has never felt more alive, and the ground has never felt less stable.

AI is rewriting work. Companies are reorganizing. Careers are being reshaped in real time. The energy is electric — but so is the anxiety. And for many people, that stress lands directly in the body: tight shoulders, shallow breath, restless sleep, clenched jaws, digestive tension, and the quiet feeling of always bracing for what comes next.

To help us navigate this moment, I’m delighted to host Dr. Alex Feng for a special Medical Qi Gong and tea gathering — an invitation to stop treating our body like hardware that only matters when it breaks.

Rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), this workshop offers a different way to meet uncertainty: through gentle movement, breath, focused intention, and Qi awareness. You’ll release tension, move stagnant Qi, reconnect with breath and balance, and leave with one simple daily practice to listen to your body before life forces you to.

No prior Qi Gong, Tai Chi, or TCM experience needed. All you need is your body, your breath, and a willingness to feel, listen, and reset.

🌟 The Special Guest: Dr. Alex Feng

Dr. Alex Feng is a Traditional Chinese Medicine doctor, Qi Gong master, martial artist, and Taoist priest with decades of experience in healing, movement, and integrative medicine. His numerous teachers include Master Kuo Lian Ying (Qi Gong, Tai Chi), Professor Ray Law (Jujitsu, Judo), Wakabayashi Sensei (Judo), Professor Wang Pei Kun (Tai Chi, Ba Gua), Keiko Fukuda Sensei (highest ranking woman Judoka), Wally Jay (Judo and Jujitsu Master), and Gurumayi (Siddha Yoga).

He became one of California’s first licensed acupuncture practitioners after acupuncture was legalized in 1976, and later founded the Clinic for Traditional Chinese Medicine in Berkeley. Today, he is the co-founder of Zhi Dao Guan, The Taoist Center in Oakland, where he continues to teach and practice TCM, Qi Gong, Tai Chi, martial arts, and Taoist healing arts.
