TBS Tribe #1: Moms, let's finally make space for you 🔥💬
POV: You didn't stop having plans when you became a mom.
There's a version of you that still has somewhere to go. The client you almost won, the certificate you almost started, the version of Sunday that used to be yours. Professionally, creatively, personally.
She didn't disappear, she just got folded into school runs and back-to-back meetings.
And you got so good at holding it all, that you stopped noticing what it was costing.
This isn't a support group. It's not a workshop that hands you a five-step plan. But it’s not just a room of open sharing either. It's a small room of mothers who are in it too — and we’re giving it shape you can go deeper, say the real thing, without needing to explain yourself first.
How the 90 minutes works:
Your hosts go first, sharing their honest version of this season
A solo prompt card - just you and a pen to put in words what you’ve been carrying
The room opens up. Share what came up on your card, or just listen.
Close and take your card home - it’s yours to keep
This is for you if:
You still feel the pull of something more, and feel guilty for it
You've gotten good at managing everything, and don't quite recognise yourself anymore
You want a room where saying the real thing is the whole point
Your Hosts
Vanessa Ng is an entrepreneur and mother of two preschoolers. After senior leadership roles at tech startups, motherhood arrived and quietly shifted everything — her ambition, her identity, her sense of worth. Working through that season is what led her to build her own consultancy, and redefine what success means to her. She couldn't find a room where she could talk about that journey out loud, so she built one with The Balanced Season.
Sarah Wong is a senior tech leader and mother of three. After moving back to Singapore, she was laid off 36 weeks pregnant — and spent the next two and a half years rebuilding her career on her own terms. She now works a compressed week and hosts Make It Work, a community and podcast for ambitious moms navigating career and identity, recommended by Channel News Asia and listened to in 40+ countries.
👶 Kid-inclusive event: We’ve found a space where they can nap or play with Kallos Kids — so you actually get to be in the conversation. Let us know your kids' age to prep age-appropriate activities for them.
🎟️ Fee: $15 per mom, free for kids.
🍲 Post-event: Open invitation for lunch for those who want to continue connecting
📍 Enabling Village
This event has a capacity of 10 adults.
