Spend four delicious hours learning to make one of Mexico’s most iconic dishes. In this hands on class, you will explore the rich diversity of Mexican moles, then step into the kitchen to prepare two beloved variations from scratch. Once everything is ready, we will set the table with locally made dinnerware and share the meal together.
What we will make together:
Manchamanteles, a vibrant mole with notes of pineapple and plantain
Mole verde, a fresh and uplifting sauce built on green herbs and leaves

$600 MXN per person, for food only

About your host
✨ Jenny is a Kindred member based in Mexico City, where she has lived for the past five years. Before that, she spent 12 years in New York City, mostly in North Brooklyn, and grew up in New England. A travel journalist by profession, Jenny is often on the road for assignments, sometimes for a few days and occasionally for several months while researching larger projects like books. She frequently returns to NYC to visit loved ones and for work, making it one of her favorite places to swap homes. Jenny thrives in vibrant city environments and loves discovering new bars and restaurants, visiting museums, and getting outdoors whenever she can, especially for scuba diving, skiing, and horseback riding.
