Restore Nature: Enterprise Stewardship of Landscape Transition

​Asia’s natural ecosystems underpin climate resilience, biodiversity, food security, rural livelihoods, and long-term economic development. Yet deforestation, climate change, and socioeconomic pressures continue to weaken the landscapes on which businesses and communities depend.

​Corporates, investors, governments, and development organisations are responding, but their efforts often remain fragmented: supply-chain programmes focus on individual commodities, investors assess isolated transactions, and public or philanthropic initiatives pursue outcomes through separate projects.

​The Restore Nature Discovery Phase is exploring a more coordinated approach. It connects corporate sourcing priorities and investment capital with locally defined development goals, enabling policy environments, and measurable outcomes for people and nature. Rather than treating individual projects in isolation, the approach identifies a connected portfolio of business opportunities and public-benefit outcomes capable of supporting transition across an entire landscape.
