About Event
Work plays a big role in how we feel, how we see ourselves, and how we move through life.
It can bring purpose, pride and joy, but also pressure, stress, expectations, burnout, boredom, or uncertainty.
During this Hot Boys Cry Event, we create a relaxed and safe space for men to connect, reflect, and talk openly about work and mental health in a light, accessible way.
This is not therapy.
It’s a moment to slow down, share perspectives, and connect, without fixing, without pressure.
Whether you’re thriving at work, questioning your direction, feeling overwhelmed, or simply curious, you’re welcome.
If the weather allows, we’ll go for an evening walk together.
If not, we’ll stay indoors at Mea and follow the same structure.
How the evening flows
We begin with a short silent walk (15 minutes) to arrive, calm the nervous system, and land in the moment.
After that, we move into guided walking conversations:
- Three rounds of ~15 minutes
- Walking in pairs (or small groups if needed)
- Each round has a central question around work, pressure, identity, and wellbeing
- We switch partners after each round
- Conversations are reflective, not problem solving
- You share only what feels right for you
From around 9:00 PM, anyone who feels like it can stay for a drink and informal connection at Mea.
Feel free to leave whenever you like.
Important
- Boys only
- Not therapy
- Share at your own pace
- Respect, confidentiality & personal responsibility are essential
- Listening is just as valuable as speaking
Why this theme?
Work shapes our identity, our rhythm, and our sense of worth more than we often realize.
By talking about it, the challenges and the positives, we create awareness, connection, and mental resilience together.
If you have questions, feel free to reach out.
Hope to see you there. 🤍
