Field Work
Community members 16+ years of age are welcome to farm with us; no prior experience is needed. Our team is happy to teach volunteers!
Join us in taking care of the farm! Farm tasks can include planting, weeding, watering, harvesting, and much, much more!
All volunteers must sign-in upon arriving to the farm, which includes a liability waiver. You must be age 13 or older to volunteer on the farm. Middle and High School students, ages 13 to 17, MUST be accompanied by a parent/guardian/chaperone.
*Note on Weather: In the event we need to cancel a volunteer event due to extreme weather, we will notify you via email, otherwise please assume we will hold volunteer events rain or shine, and dress accordingly.
*Note on Volunteer Hours: We are happy to sign off on hours if you need them, however, we ask that you please provide your own form or letter for us to sign. Veggielution staff will only sign-off on hours if a form is provided at time of volunteering.
*Note on Dress Code: No jewelry, body piercings, rhinestones, dangling strings, ear buds or other items that can fall off into the growing area, packing area, or harvested product are allowed. Volunteers will be asked to remove items and store in a safe place or cover with tape.
