Lactation & Newborn Feeding: Support, Tips, and Guidance for Nursing Parents

Are you preparing to feed your newborn and want practical guidance on breastfeeding, bottle-feeding, and newborn nutrition? Whether you’re a first-time parent, adoptive parent, or caregiver, our Lactation & Newborn Feeding class will give you the knowledge, confidence, and support to nourish your baby successfully.

This class is hosted by Boboto Care & The Nanny Grove, and taught by Tracy Mwalumba (@thebirthandbabypro) in partnership with the Toronto Birth Center.

What You’ll Learn

  • Breastfeeding basics, including latch, positioning, and common challenges

  • Bottle-feeding guidance for expressed milk or formula

  • Recognizing hunger cues and understanding your baby’s feeding needs

  • Tips for building feeding routines and maintaining milk supply

  • Support for parents’ rest, recovery, and wellbeing during feeding

Tracy Mwalumba (@thebirthandbabypro) is a trusted mother, doula, new parent coach, lactation consultant, and sleep specialist who has supported hundreds of families through the perinatal period. She is the founder of Boboto Care and The Nanny Grove, bringing holistic, family-centered support to new parents.
