Prepping Your Project for Post
Presented by Journeywork Entertainment
Presenters: Ana Christian & Ryan Stemple

Join Journeywork Entertainment for an in-depth, practical workshop designed to demystify the post-production process and prepare your project for success. This session begins with a brief overview of what post-production encompasses, accompanied by a short highlight reel to ground participants in the creative and technical scope of the work.

Participants will gain hands-on insight into building a post-production plan, including:

  1. A sample post-production budget and timeline estimate

  2. A clear rubric outlining the phases of post-production

  3. An overview of typical cost ranges and timelines for each phase

  4. A guided exercise to create a preliminary budget and schedule for different project types (short film, feature, commercial)

  5. Insight into how post-production roles connect across various job sectors, helping attendees identify transferable skills and pathways into the film industry

Whether you’re an emerging filmmaker, a seasoned vet eager to sharpen your skills or exploring new career pathways, this workshop offers practical tools and industry insight to help you navigate post-production with clarity and confidence.
