Italian Business Lounge by Italchamber #5
Join us on October 20, 2026 at Tropical Un pezzo d'Italia at Kungsträdgården, for a new episode of the Italian Business Lounge by Italchamber, this time featuring Aurelio and Romeo Mariani, co- founders of TrueSky AB, the Swedish distributor of CoeLux, an Italian deep-tech lighting system that recreates natural sunlight and sky.
The Italian Business Lounge brings together companies with strong ties to Italy who are eager to explore business opportunities between Italy and Sweden — all in the relaxed, convivial spirit of an Italian aperitivo.
In collaboration with Noce, Better Change, and Vertical Media Sthlm.
This evening's topic: Missing the Sun: The Hidden Cost of Nordic Winters.
Aurelio and Romeo moved to Sweden when they were 10 years old and one of the first things they noticed was that it got dark at 3 pm. Coming from Italy, that was not just unfamiliar, it was a shock. The talk will describe one of Sweden's most overlooked problems: every winter, the country loses most of its direct sunlight for months and in windowless or basement spaces, some people go without any real sunlight at all. It changes deeply how we function and how we feel. Aurelio and Romeo will explore both the problem and the solution to bring real daylight to spaces that have none, in healthcare and real estate across Sweden.
We look forward to welcoming you on October 20 and to seeing you again at our upcoming events across Stockholm.
