BMEG 402 - Final SDG Presentations
You’re invited to join us for a fast-paced, inspiring afternoon where biomedical engineering students pitch bold solutions to real-world challenges aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
As part of their final course project, students from UBC's BMEG 402 have identified urgent global problems, from food deserts and airbag safety to plastic waste in oceans, and developed thoughtful, systems-level solutions rooted in biomedical engineering and sustainability.
These are not polished startups but they’re ideas in motion:
✔ Rooted in real-world data
✔ Framed through the lens of systems thinking and equity
✔ Thought out for environmental, social, and economic impact
✔ Pitched with creativity, clarity, and care
