Toronto TCM Walk: Acupressure & Stress Relief πΏ
βFriendly Note: This is a new walk series in partnership with Aurum and here are all the TCM walks!
βThere's a concept in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) called ι€η (Yang Sheng) and it's essentially the practice of tending to your life through the basics. The foundational stuff that isn't another comprehensive health protocol but quietly keeps everything else running.
βThe TCM Walk series is built around that idea.
βWhat's this about π
βAcupressure has been around for thousands of years and most of us have never learned the four or five points that would actually relieve our stress, anxiety, overthinking, or even burnout.
βThis TCM walk is fixing that.
βWe're spending an afternoon in the park with TCM practitioner Melissa Ong learning the points that matter most for everyday life and actually practicing them on ourselves as we go. The kind of thing you use on the subway home that same day.
βHere's how the afternoon goes βοΈ
βFor this TCM walk we're heading to a park with a TCM practitioner from Aurum Medicine & Wellness Clinic, Melissa Ong R.TCMP R.Ac, to learn more about stress relief and the various accupressure points that you can safely press on when you are back home or at the office.
βAfterward, we will head to a cafe to relax and mix/mingle with each other. The event ends at 3 PM but feel free to stay for however long you'd like.
βWhat you'll walk away with
ββ A clearer sense of which accupressure points can help with what kind of body relief
β A realistic integration of small actions you can take in your daily life
β A small group of people you genuinely enjoyed spending an afternoon with
β An introduction to Yang Sheng as a framework you can keep returning to
βπ What's included in your ticketπ
β Self-acupressure kit including acupuncture seeds and guide
β TCM resource guide for today's topic
β A complimentary personalized TCM assessment and discovery call with Melissa Ong R.TCMP, R.Ac
β A $20 off voucher toward acupuncture services with Melissa Ong R.TCMP, R.Ac at Aurum Medicine & Wellness Clinic
βGood to know π§Ί
βPart of what makes it worth showing up is that it's small and intentional. All spots are vetted to make sure it's a good mix of people.
βFor this walk make sure to wear comfortable shoes, bring something to take notes if you want, and come with an open mind about why your body does what it does.
βYour ticket investment goes toward both host's time, effort, energy, and resources to support your well-being.
βMeet Your Hosts
βHi, I'm Michelle ππ»
βI'm a former B2B SaaS marketer turned Intuitive Business Strategist and someone who has been quietly weaving TCM philosophy into how I work with people for a while now. The way a good TCM practitioner listens and understands before they prescribe anything, that's also how I approach my client sessions.
βThis new walk series is my way of bringing that same energy into a more relaxed setting for people who are ready to stop overcomplicating their health protocols and get back to building their internal foundations.
