ββWhat is Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)
βTraditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is a medical system that has been practiced for thousands of years and is built around the idea that health comes from balance and harmony within the body. Instead of just looking at isolated symptoms, TCM looks at the person as a whole from the body, mind to environment while identifying patterns and treating the internal root causes. TCM uses approaches such as acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, and lifestyle guidance. All aimed at restoring harmony between the Yin Yang and supporting the body's natural ability to heal.
βYou didn't start a business to feel like this.
βWired at midnight. Foggy by 2pm. Running on caffeine, adrenaline, and the sheer will to not drop anything. If that's familiar, this one's for you.
βββEvent Overview π
βIn Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) there's a concept called ι€η (Yang Sheng) which is tending to your life through the basics before you need a full health protocol to fix it. This tea tasting is Yang Sheng in its simplest, most doable form: sitting still for some time with something specifically chosen to help your body come down off the ledge.
βYou'll try two different herbal blends in which one is built for stress and anxiety while the other is for the tired-but-wired exhaustion that doesn't go away with sleep. TCM practitioner, Melissa Ong, will walk you through what's in each, why it works, and which one your body is actually asking for right now.
ββWho this is for
βThis one's built specifically for founders, business owners, investors, senior executives, and solopreneurs who:
β Are running on stress, adrenaline, or "I'll rest when it's done"
β Feel tired in a way that a good night's sleep doesn't fix
β Want something real and low-effort to add to their routine not another wellness protocol to manage
β Like the idea of small, unpolished, in-person rooms over another webinar
ββHere's how the afternoon goes βοΈ
ββ We'll open with a short, casual round so you know who's in the room
β Tea one: a blend for stress and anxiety with Melissa walking through what's in it and why
β Tea two: a blend for burnout and depletion for the "tired but can't switch off" feeling
β A short guided reflection tying it back to Yang Sheng and your own routine
β Then we open it up for you to stay and talk shop, or slip out whenever you need to
ββKind Words from Past Attendees β¨
β"The event was a great opportunity to learn more about two curated teas in a tactile way, deep dive into each herbal ingredient, and have a taste of the herbal teas. It was also a fantastic way to meet and hang out with others interested in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). I also really appreciated how open Melissa and Michelle were to answering any questions and accommodating specific needs like allergies."Β
β A.T.ββThe herbal tea tasting experience was a lovely way to be introduced to the world of TCM. I walked away with knowledge on different ingredients used in TCM herbal teas and useful tips on how I can actually incorporate these elements in my everyday life. The setup was lovely, the group was great, and it was a fun and relaxed way to learn and meet new people at the same time.β
- R.P.ββThe TCM Herbal Tea Tasting was such a treat. I really enjoyed Melissa's practical tips on using herbal teas to support one's health. It was also a great primer on what TCM is and the overall benefits. The teas tasted yummy too. This experience has inspired me to check out the Chinese herbal shops near me. Beyond the tea, I loved meeting like minded people and hanging out with the group after the tasting. If you're on the fence about joining a TCM Walk, I recommend you give it a try. You'll learn something and even make a new friend or two.β

βMeet Your Hosts
βHi, I'm Michelle ππ»
βI'm a former B2B SaaS marketer turned Intuitive Business Strategist and someone who has been quietly weaving TCM philosophy into how I work with people for a while now. The way a good TCM practitioner listens and understands before they prescribe anything, that's also how I approach my client sessions.
βThis new walk series is my way of bringing that same energy into a more relaxed setting for people who are ready to stop overcomplicating their health protocols and get back to building their internal foundations.

βHi, I'm Dr. Julie Hwang ππ», licensed naturopathic doctor and the founder of Aurum Medicine & Wellness, where I've spent years building bridges between Traditional Chinese Medicine, functional nutrition, and evidence-based naturopathic care.
βI believe in walking the talk, and that integrative medicine is about living in alignment with nature, while still optimizing with modern health and medicine tools we have. I also believe that for business owners, health shows up on the bottom line. We can use principles of medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine to live better.
βWe are hosting this walk series because wellness doesn't need to live only in a clinic or feel like a chore. Sometimes the most grounding health conversations and those experiences that inspire us to change for the better happen outside, moving, in community. Come walk with us.
