Illuminate Psychology Practice
Founder | Principal Psychologist
Amerie is a registered clinical psychologist who enjoys working with people across the lifespan. She loves empowering young people and adults to create experiences beyond the limits of their narratives, deepen their self-understanding and develop a more fulfilling relationship with themselves. Her clinical work over more than a decade has been profoundly shaped by conversations on the couch. She strongly believes that her clients are her best teachers.
On her days off, Amerie is often busy coming up with quirky ideas or indulging in creative pursuits. She is a word geek and gets excited about sharing ideas or books. Amerie is inspired by wisdom, nature, good conversations and big hearts. Most of all, she is easily moved by the beauty of human connections and child-like wonder.
Delight
Yoga Teacher & Sound Facilitator
Delight began her teaching journey in 2023 through hosting group classes at a studio and now shares her practice independently as a freelance facilitator. She believes in creating spaces where participants are able to pause, reground, become aware and reconnect with themselves through intentional movement, stillness and sound.
She is certified in Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin Yoga and Sound Healing & Therapy. Her classes reflect her belief that yoga is more than just movement. It is a conversation with ourselves, inviting presence both on and off the mat.
