

BioPharma Networking Hike: Mt Davidson
Reach the highest point (938 feet) in San Francisco on a climb up through eucalyptus forest and down coastal scrub and grassland. The mountain will provide a rich habitat for networking as it does for migratory birds.
After the hike (~12:30pm), we will grab snacks/drinks in West Portal.
Make it a day in SF with these free events:
1) Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco (Free Saturday) = Free general admission to the permanent galleries to Bay Area residents at the de Young Museum & Legion of Honor with Organ Concert (4pm).

Parking = Free Street parking in neighborhood around Merced Triangle Park (along: Dewey, Merced, Vasquez (between Kensington & Laguna Honda))
Public Transportation = Muni: 36, 43, 44, 52 (0.3 mi), K, L, M (Forest Hill Station/0.3 mi)
Terrain = Moderate/Difficult Steep w/ dirt trails & paved street [We will aim for a 30 min/mile pace]
3.4 miles with 690 feet of elevation gain (route - Strava)
OK to do in sneakers, but recommend good traction
Facilities = None along planned route [If needed: 0.5 mile detour to restrooms in second half of hike]. Nearest restrooms to start/end of route: West Portal Park & Library (0.4 miles)
Misc = Dogs are allowed & cell reception is good.
