Join us for the 2026 Tweener Awards as we unveil the latest Tweener List and celebrate the founders, fundraisers, and exits shaping North Carolina’s startup ecosystem.

What started in the Triangle has grown statewide, and this year’s awards reflect that. From Raleigh to Charlotte, Wilmington to the mountains, we’re recognizing the next wave of companies building and scaling across North Carolina.

We’re excited to spotlight the founders and startups driving what comes next.

Expect a high-energy night with founders, investors, and operators from across the state, plus the official reveal of the 2026 Tweener List.

The NC Tweener Fund, Powered by NC IDEA is focused on building an index of early-stage, high-tech, startups in North Carolina that meet the "Tweener" criteria. Tweeners are: $1m ARR or 10 people, HQ'd in North Carolina, and no bigger than $80m ARR.
