🇳🇵NYF Olgapuri Trekathon
​I'm excited to be co-leading Team NC for Nepal Youth Foundation’s first-ever Olgapuri Trek-A-Thon!
​On Saturday, September 26, Nepal Youth Foundation (NYF) supporters around the world will be walking in their own communities to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Olgapuri Children’s Village in Kathmandu.
​NYF is a nonprofit that supports children and young people across Nepal by providing access to education, healthcare, shelter, vocational training, and opportunities to build a brighter future. Olgapuri Children’s Village is an important part of that work, providing a safe and loving home for children who need it most.
​Following the devastating flooding in Nepal, Olgapuri is also preparing to play an important role in NYF’s response, including making additional space available to care for children who have lost their families.
​For me, this trek is a small way to stay connected to Nepal, bring people together, and support an organization doing incredibly meaningful work for children and communities across the country. Especially at a time like this, as communities across Nepal are dealing with the devastating impact of the floods, supporting this work feels more meaningful than ever.
