Circle of Love for Valeria: Community Reciprocity Gathering
Circle of Love began with a question rooted in love.
What would it look like if community became part of the medicine?
Throughout our lives, there are moments when we all need support, yet so often we feel we need to carry these experiences alone.
Circle of Love is a gathering rooted in reciprocity, care, and community. Each circle invites us to show up through our presence, prayers, creativity, resources, offerings, and mutual aid.
THE FIRST CIRCLE
Our first Circle of Love will be held in loving support of Valeria on Saturday, June 20 at 7:00 PM ET
This will be a live streamed in-person gathering in Brooklyn.
Valeria is a beautiful soul who has touched many of our lives through her generosity, wisdom, and care. This evening is an opportunity for us to gather and offer some of that love back as she moves through her healing journey.
Together we will:
~Share ceremonial cacao
~Co-create a collective art piece infused with prayers and intentions
~Gather in community
~Offer resources and support
EXPANDING THE CIRCLE
At the close of each gathering, the intent is for the circle to expand.
For Valeria, we are calling on community to continue holding space and love while we collectively raise funds for her care.
We will then identify another community member, family, elder, artist, caregiver, or neighbor who could benefit from the support of community.
A LIVING CIRCLE
Circle of Love is built on a simple belief that none of us are meant to walk this life alone.
The strongest communities are built when people choose to show up for one another through the ebbs and flows of life. Valeria teaches us this.
