Bedazzling Hours

A Women in Science UAE Community Gathering 💎

Ready to add a little sparkle to your day?

Join us for Bedazzling Hours, a relaxed creative gathering where you can take a break from work, get creative, and connect with other women in science.

Bedazzling is the fun process of decorating everyday items with rhinestones, gems, pearls, and other decorative pieces to create something unique and personal. No artistic experience is needed, just bring your creativity!

☕ Creativity, coffee and connection

We will spend the evening working on our bedazzling projects, having conversations, meeting new people, and getting to know one another beyond our professional titles and CVs.

Whether you are a student, researcher, early-career professional, or senior scientist, this is a chance to meet women from different areas and stages of science in a relaxed and informal setting.

What to expect:

💎 A fun, hands-on bedazzling activity with all materials provided

🤝 An opportunity to meet new members and reconnect with familiar faces

☕ Relaxed conversations and networking

✨ A chance to connect beyond the usual workplace setting

🎟️ Participation fee: AED 15

The fee covers all bedazzling materials. Drinks are not included and can be purchased directly from OLAB Coffee Shop.

Registration & payment

After registering for the event, you will receive a payment link via email. Your place will be confirmed once the payment has been completed.

No previous bedazzling experience is needed. Just bring yourself, your creativity, and your curiosity!
