About Event

What if, instead of rushing into the new year with resolutions and productivity goals, you gave yourself a weekend to slow down and ask:

What do I actually want this year to feel like?

Join us for a cosy weekend away in nature, designed to help you begin the year with calm, clarity and intention.

This will be a small group retreat with a gentle mix of guided activities, time in nature, shared meals, unhurried conversations and plenty of space to simply be.

What to expect?

✨ Create a vision board for the year ahead
📖 Write a letter to your future self
📝 Guided journalling and reflection
🌱 Build bucket lists and set goals from curiosity and joy rather than pressure
💭 Think about what's important to you and what you would love to do more of
🌿 Time outdoors and moments of quiet
🤎 Shared meals, conversations and cosy evenings together
🧩 Plenty of unstructured time to read, wander, play or do absolutely nothing

We will make space for the things that often get lost in the rush of everyday life — curiosity, creativity, rest, connection and joy.

You are also invited to bring something to share with the group — a book, a game, a creative project, a song, a skill, a story or simply an idea for how you'd like to spend some time together.

The weekend

You'll arrive on Friday evening and settle into our home for the weekend, get to know each other and plan the days ahead.

Saturday will be our main day of reflection and intention-setting, with a balance of facilitated activities, time outdoors, shared meals and free time.

Sunday will start with some fun games and movement exercises, a chance to revisit what you've created, and leave with a little more clarity about the year ahead.

A detailed itinerary will be shared with registered participants.

Food

This will be a self-catered weekend. We will all cook together in the onsite community kitchen. The meals will include dinner on Friday, breakfast, lunch and dinner on Saturday, and breakfast on Sunday. There will also be snacks and beverages available throughout the day. Please expect vegan or vegetarian food. If someone has a serious allergy concern, they can choose to opt out of communal meals.

Cost

  • You can register your interest with a £25 sign-up on Luma. The total cost for the weekend, including food and accommodation, is expected to be between £150 and £180, which can be paid via bank transfer at a later stage.

  • This cost will cover accommodation for 2 nights, meals mentioned above and creativity/craft supplies.

  • Travel cost will be separate. You can choose to drive, take public transport or if more of us are traveling from nearby places, we can arrange for a shared cab or coach.
