Light The Night For Hope
Join us for Light the Night for Hope, a powerful evening dedicated to suicide prevention, mental health awareness, and community connection. Hosted by the Organization of Student Social Workers at Boise State University, this event brings together students, mental-health professionals, community partners, and advocates to inspire hope, reduce stigma, and support lifesaving work across Idaho.
Proceeds from this event will benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention- Idaho Chapter.
AFSP provides education, crisis-support initiatives, community programming, and statewide suicide-prevention efforts designed to save lives and expand access to hope.
This night will feature a keynote address from a leading voice in suicide prevention, a well-rounded mental-health panel with clinical, policy, student, and lived-experience perspectives, music, a candlelight moment of reflection, and opportunities to give back through a paddle raise and all designed to bring our community together in compassion and action.

Why We Gather:
Idaho continues to face deeply challenging mental-health and suicide rates. Light the Night for Hope exists to bring our community together—to honor those we've lost, support those who are struggling, and strengthen the resources that save lives. Together, we can build a future where no one faces their darkest moments alone.
