About Event

Your pelvic floor does a lot. And no, the answer isn’t always “just do Kegels.”

Join Dr. Sara Bloom and Dr. Sasha Speer, PT, DPT, pelvic health specialist and Cleo Care practitioner, for an honest, practical conversation about pelvic floor health during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

We’ll talk about:

  • What pelvic floor therapy actually is and when to start

  • How to prepare your pelvic floor for labor and delivery

  • Leaking, pressure, pain, prolapse, and other symptoms you shouldn’t have to “just live with”

  • C-section and vaginal birth recovery

  • Diastasis recti, core strength, and returning to movement

  • What’s normal, what deserves support, and how to find the right provider

Whether you’re pregnant, newly postpartum, or still dealing with symptoms years later, bring your questions. Nothing is too personal, too small, or too awkward.

Meet Dr. Sara Bloom

Dr. Sara Bloom is a physician specializing in maternal wellness, a mother of three and the founder of Mavie. For years, she has cared for women through one of life’s most demanding seasons while navigating it herself. She kept seeing the same gap: mothers carrying everything, with almost nothing designed to care for them.

She built Mavie because most wellness tools were designed for a life moms do not have. Mavie is designed for the one they do, offering small, evidence based support that meets moms in the minutes they actually have, without perfection, guilt or pressure.

Meet Dr. Sasha Speer

Dr. Sasha Speer, DPT, is a seasoned pelvic health specialist with years of expertise in both pelvic health and orthopedics. Having personally encountered the limitations of conventional medical care, she founded Auria Pelvic Health to bridge these gaps and provide comprehensive, effective healing. Dr. Speer's specialties include advanced vagus nerve treatment and sciatica, reflecting her commitment to addressing complex conditions with a holistic approach. She is also a part of the Cleo Care practitioner team.

Cleo is a full-spectrum maternal care concierge for women and families navigating fertility, pregnancy, and postpartum. We coordinate a wide range of care, birth and postpartum doulas, lactation consultants, pelvic floor physical therapy, mental health support, night and newborn care, massage and bodywork, acupuncture, sleep support, nutrition, and meal delivery, all through a single point of contact. We're for anyone on the maternal journey who wants expert, personalized care without the chaos of vetting and coordinating it themselves.

Event Co-Host:
