Day 5/5 (Idealist Day) – We will plant, cook, and eat together
WHY THIS EVENT?
Many women in Bagamoyo do not have enough food. Their children go to bed hungry. Food prices keep rising. But we have land. If we farm, we get food. If we work together, hunger will reduce.
On day 5/5 idealist day we gather to work with our own hands. We will farm one small field. We will plant maize 🌽 , vegetables🥬, and sweet potatoes🥔. Later, the harvest will help women who struggle to feed their families for many weeks.
This is not just words – it is action.
WHAT WILL WE DO?
We will dig and plant together (morning time).
We will cook a meal together.
We will sit down and talk. Every woman will share her problem. We will also learn how to sell crops without being cheated and how to store food at home.
We will share free seeds with all the women who attend.
We are women and men of Bagamoyo. Together we feed our families. On day 5/5, let's go farming together.❤️
