The Self-Advocacy & Leadership Hour
Feeling stuck, overlooked, or unsure how to navigate workplace dynamics and advocate for what you want in your career?
Welcome to The Self-Advocacy & Leadership Hour - a welcoming virtual space held on the fourth Thursday of every month for thoughtful conversation, practical tools, and real-time coaching.
Hosted by Emily Bennington, an ICF-certified coach with 13+ years of HR experience, this monthly gathering is designed to help you stop waiting for your hard work to speak for itself and start building the confidence, clarity, and self-advocacy skills to take your next step.
Each session begins with a brief teaching segment on a real-world career topic - things like leadership presence, navigating difficult personalities, setting healthy boundaries, communicating with confidence, and increasing your visibility at work - followed by live spotlight coaching and open discussion.
Bring your favorite beverage, your questions, and whatever is on your mind - whether it's imposter syndrome, career growth, difficult conversations, promotions, or figuring out what comes next.
This is a supportive, forward-focused coaching space centered on personal growth, leadership, and self-advocacy. While Emily brings extensive HR experience to the conversation, this is not an HR policy, employee relations, or legal advisory forum.
I hope you'll join us!
