Join a private salon with Sharon Waxkirsh, whose work in hypnosis & hypnoanalgesia explores the limits — and possibilities — of how pain is experienced and transformed with hypnosis. Sharon has worked with doctors and dentists around the world regarding the utilization of hypnosis as the sole form of anesthetic for surgical procedures.
Sharon has even been filmed utilizing self-hypnosis for removal of her wisdom tooth.
This evening brings together researchers, scientists, and select benefactors for a focused conversation on the role of the mind in shaping sensory experience. Through dialogue and select demonstration, we will examine emerging questions at the intersection of neuroscience, perception, and human potential.
