Grads In Games meetup @ Develop
Join Dan and Grads in Games for a friendly and casual networking event on the coast as a fringe event of Develop:Brighton.
Open to anybody in or out of the industry, this relaxed meetup is a great opportunity to meet the GiG team, along with others across gamedev, games academia and the GiG community.
Tickets are free and we have space reserved at Tempest between 13:00 and 16:00, so come and have a chat and take the chance to network in person in a relaxed setting.
For devs & studios this is a chance to
Meet and network with likeminded industry-positive people, games academics and leading, proactive students
Chat with GiG about how we support studios in finding & hiring awesome grads
Learn how studios and devs can benefit from more involvement in outreach activities
For academics and educators you can
Learn how GiG is working with universities and how we can help you too
Meet & network with other academics teaching games courses
Speak directly with games professionals who support better links with education
For students & recent grads this is a great opportunity to
Speak with the GiG team about any aspect of starting your games career
Get personalised advice in an informal and friendly environment
Meet and network with both peers and industry professionals
The meetup is mainly for devs, studios and academics down for the Develop conference, but students and recent grads are still very welcome! If you're a student/grad we recommend coming along a bit later in the afternoon.
