Hands-on lab: Liebovitz (L-15) media, HEK293 cell growth, HEPES buffer.
Materials: 1x 25cm2 flask pre-filled with HEK293 in L15 + 10% FBS + Amp/Strep/Gent; 4x 25cm2 flasks; 100mL L15 + 10% FBS + Amp/Strep/Gent; 10x syringes and filters; 4x 12-well plates; 100mL Trypsin-EDTA solution; 100uL G418 (200mg/mL); 50 microcentrifuge tubes; inverted microscope w/ 3MP USB camera; DMSO/PBS.
~$350 for HEK293 growth kit (from The Odin) + $200/TA. Other cell line options: K562, CHO.
