The Lekker Network | Dubai Chapter Launch

​On 24 November, The Lekker Network officially launches its Dubai chapter, and we’d love you to be there.

​The Lekker Network is a global community of South Africans and their allies, with 800+ members across 38 countries. This evening isn’t a networking event in the usual Dubai sense. No pitching, no card swapping. It’s a room full of South Africans building businesses in the UAE and abroad, founders, operators, executives and investors, who should know each other and mostly just haven’t met yet.

​Come for the stories, the laughs and a proper catch-up with people who get where you come from.

​Pierre du Plessis, strategist, author and founder of Be Brave, will give the keynote, Only the Brave: The South African Way. You left home, and that was brave. In 20 minutes, Pierre explores what comes next: who you are, finding your people abroad, and how to keep choosing bravery long after the boxes are unpacked.

​Four senior leaders from ALEC Holdings, our launch Partner, will share their journeys in a panel hosted by Nic Latouf, co-founder and CEO of The Lekker Network. Lauren Haworth, our Dubai Chapter Head, will open the evening.
