Law & Capital Structure Leader: Brenda Schamy is the co-founder and managing partner at Dischino & Schamy PLLC a business and intellectual property specializing in the lifestyle industries including but not limited to start ups, tech, entertainment, sports, media, hospitality, food and beverage, art, fashion, events and more. As an entrepreneur, investing has always been a core component of her personal growth strategy and one that she and her firm consistently advise on both structuring and vetting investments for clients.
Tech Venture Capital Leader: Andres Cano is the Co-Founder and General Partner of Pygma, an accelerator venture firm backing exceptional founders building global companies from Latin America and the US. Since launching four years ago, Pygma has worked with 130+ companies, made 30 direct investments, and now operates across NYC, Colombia, and Mexico, capturing 10% of new fintech companies in the region. He's also the co-founder of Colectivo, NYC's community for tech founders with 330+ members. Andres believes the best LatAm founders don't need to be taught how to build, they need access, capital, and investors who actually understand their markets.
AI Venture Capital Leader: Dorothy Chang is the Venture Partner at Flybridge and Next Wave NYC, a pre-seed fund investing in the most innovative AI & Developer platforms. She invests in visionary founders building pre-seed/seed stage Al software startups that are creating real progress for society at technology scale. Her mission is to empower and connect founders and aspiring founders with the people, resources & capital they need to turn their big dreams into reality. She is the first woman to start a VC fund investing in the crypto/blockchain space.
Real Estate Leader: Nate Rosenkranz is a Fund Manager for IceCap Group, a New York based private money lender that provides fast, asset-based financing for real-estate investors, specializing in short-term loans for fix-and-flips, bridge loans, and construction, as well as long-term financing for rental properties. He formerly worked as an associate at Redstick Ventures and uses this experience to bring a venture mindset to his deals.
General Venture Capital Leader: Pao Correa is the Chief of Staff at Recursive Ventures, a San Francisco based VC-fund investing in US pre-seed and seed tech startups disrupting industries through use of data and AI. She is a Colombian-born sales, marketing, and venture capital specialist with 10+ years of experience building and scaling global go to market strategies across North & Latin American markets. She has served as an investment associate at Techstars Miami, where she invested in 48 early-stage startups and led 13-week accelerator programs focused on helping founders refine their GTM strategy, product-market fit and fundraising approach.
