Having returned from our summer retreats (see picture - this glamorous lady is not invited. She was part of the soothing backdrop of the Delphi retreat in mid-Wales :), reunited with family, and refreshed our spirits, we gather in late August to confront the ultimate seasonal pivot. This date marks the arrival of Shosho (処暑)—"The Limit of Heat"—the traditional solar term signaling the climax of peak summer and the subtle turn toward autumn - very subtle, unfortunately, in recent years!
While the city still simmers in residual humidity, the true strategic leader knows that late August is not a time to coast. It is the moment when high-altitude intelligence is gathered, Q3/Q4 positioning is finalized, and momentum is seized while competitors are still shaking off their holiday lethargy.
