Off the Record: AI in Drug Dev
We’re all thinking it, so why not share your thoughts and hear from your peers! Join a small group of biopharma leaders for an off-the-record conversation about where AI is actually accelerating drug development — and where it isn’t.
No pitches, no transactional agendas, no logo wars (in fact, no logos). Just candor, good food, and the kinds of conversations we never get enough time for during the JPM daylight hours.
It’s also a moment to unwind and close out JPM surrounded by others who’ve just run the same marathon. We realize few of you get to experience the local fare and flair of San Francisco during JPM, so we’ll provide food, libations, and craft chocolate from local chocolatiers to sample.
What to Expect
Chatham-House-style discussion
Share insights freely; leave affiliations at the door (your org won’t be on your name card).
The 2025 Executive Pulseboard
Anonymous, data-driven wall charts capturing what this room really thinks about timelines, bottlenecks, and where AI has — or hasn’t — delivered this year.
Prediction Ledger (anonymous)
Leave one prediction for where AI + drug development will be by JPM 2027…
And one thing you hope the industry avoids along the way.
A moment to breathe
After a week of sprints, meetings, and dealmaking, this reception is designed as a reset button — warm lighting, slower pacing, real conversation, and no pressure to be “on.”
The Atmosphere
We’ll gather in a hidden speakeasy downtown, with elevated Vietnamese–Chinese fusion fare prepared just for our group. Venue details will be shared upon confirmation.
To help everyone who always has to fly in and out of JPM experience a little of what makes San Francisco special, we’ll also share a few of our favorite local treats — think small-batch bonbons from Fève or Dandelion, and other surprises from the city’s food artisans.
