BES26 - Volunteer Programme
Blue Earth Summit 2026 | Join the Volunteer Team
Volunteer Programme
Help make the Summit happen. Be part of what comes next.
Join the Blue Earth Summit volunteer team and connect with a community building a better future for people and the planet.
The Summit brings together founders, investors, adventurers and original thinkers to share ideas, build connections and turn ambition into action. As a volunteer, you’ll help create a welcoming experience and have time to enjoy it yourself.
Volunteer for half the day. Enjoy the Summit for the other half.
You could be welcoming attendees, helping with registration, guiding people around the venue or supporting sessions. We’ll provide a briefing, a team contact and guidance throughout your shift.
For the other half of your day, you’re free to explore the talks, discover exhibitors and meet the Blue Earth community.
A £25 refundable deposit secures your place. Attend your agreed shift or shifts and we’ll return it within 30 days after the event. If you do not show up for an agreed shift, you will lose your deposit.
What’s included
Access to the Summit on your confirmed volunteer day or days
Half of each agreed day free to enjoy the event
A volunteer briefing and support from the Blue Earth team
The opportunity to meet people working on ideas for a better future

Volunteer terms of agreement
1. Eligibility and registration
You must be aged 18 or over on your first volunteer day. Please provide accurate contact details and an emergency contact when registering.
The event is organised by Blue Earth Summit Limited.
2. Your time commitment
For each confirmed volunteer day, you agree to support the team for one half of the day. The other half is yours to enjoy the Summit.
Your dates, shift times and duties will be confirmed before the event. Any changes to your agreed shift will be discussed with you.
3. Event access
Your volunteer pass is for your use only and covers your confirmed volunteer day or days.
During your free half day, you can access the talks, exhibitions and networking opportunities included with your pass. Sessions remain subject to capacity and any booking requirements. Separately ticketed or invitation only activities are excluded unless confirmed.
4. Your £25 refundable deposit
A single £25 deposit is payable when registering, covering your agreed volunteer shift or shifts.
Your deposit will be refunded in full within 30 days after the event once your attendance has been checked, normally to your original payment method.
If you do not show up for an agreed shift, your £25 deposit will be retained.
If you can no longer attend, contact the volunteer team as soon as possible. Any agreed cancellation or change, including how your deposit will be handled, will be confirmed in writing. Illness, emergencies and exceptional circumstances will be considered individually.
If Blue Earth cancels your volunteer place or the event, your deposit will be refunded in full. If we change your shift or the event date and you cannot attend the revised arrangements, your deposit will also be refunded.
5. During your shift
Please arrive at the confirmed meeting time, follow the volunteer briefing and check in and out with your team leader.
Treat everyone with respect, follow reasonable instructions and venue rules, and report any safety concerns promptly. You must be fit to carry out your duties safely.
If you feel unwell or need to leave early, speak to your team leader so we can agree what happens next.
6. Support and expenses
We will provide a team contact, guidance, appropriate breaks and support during your shift. Please tell us about any accessibility requirements or adjustments that would help you participate.
You are responsible for arranging travel and any accommodation. Meals and reimbursement of expenses are included only where confirmed by Blue Earth in writing.
7. Personal information
Blue Earth will use your registration details to organise your participation, issue your pass, communicate about your shift, administer your deposit and respond to emergencies.
Please keep any personal information you encounter during your role confidential and follow the team’s instructions for handling it.
8. Agreement
By registering and accepting these terms, you confirm that you understand the half day volunteering arrangement and the £25 deposit conditions.
Nothing in these terms excludes any statutory rights that apply to you.
