Wilmington Hospital Shooting Community Vigil & Healing Gathering
In the wake of the June 16 shooting at Wilmington Hospital, we are gathering caregivers, hospital workers, patients, families, neighbors, and community members for an evening of remembrance, reflection, and conversation.
This event is intended to create space to grieve together, honor those affected, and speak honestly about the impact of violence on caregivers, patients, and the broader Wilmington community. The evening will include a vigil, brief reflections from frontline healthcare workers and community voices, and a facilitated discussion about healing, support, and what our community needs moving forward.
This is a community-hosted event and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any healthcare system or employer.
Please RSVP if you plan to attend as there is a seating capacity.
