Unfair Advantage | LA Strategy Salon
On June 27th, JOY128 will host an intentional Saturday morning with brand strategist and creator David Kyle Choe in LA.
David Kyle Choe is the founder of Department of Anthropology, a brand strategy and cultural intelligence consultancy that partners with founder-led brands distill and materialize their unfair advantages. He previously led brand and product strategy for Coca-Cola, Netflix, JP Morgan, The Home Depot, and the Atlanta Hawks. He is also building an independent media platform analyzing the principles behind the world’s most distinctive brands, with millions of views and 70K+ followers across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
The morning will bring together creative professionals, independent operators, and anyone navigating what it actually means to build a career on their own terms. David will share the clarity framework he's developed through years of work with founders and creators, followed by a live workshop where participants work through real questions in real time together.
Our intention is to create a morning that feels honest, unhurried, and genuinely useful. Good coffee from Anomaly, installations by Spare Parts, and space afterward to connect with the people in the room.
We'd love to have you join us!
